Whatâs your fav??? I was a football hold girly all the way!
Whatâs your favorite Position?
Cross Cradle â¨
Also known as crossover hold, works well for nursing preemies, newborns, and babies that have trouble getting latched on. This position makes it easier to view your ni**le and your babyâs mouth. Plus, since you are holding your babyâs head, you have more control to guide your baby into a good latch.
Football Hold đ
Also called the clutch hold, the football position is the perfect choice for nursing twins. It is also a good position for breastfeeding after a cesarean section since the baby does not lay across your abdomen. Mothers with large breasts and those with flat or inverted ni**les may prefer to use this hold, too. Itâs another position that offers a better view of your babyâs mouth and your ni**les.
Cradle đ¤ąđź
Probably the most popular nursing position. It may be difficult to breastfeed in this position right from the start, but once your baby can latch on well, this is a comfortable and common way to breastfeed.
Side Lying â¨
This position is great when youâre tired and want to nurse while lying down. Itâs a very natural choice for nighttime feedings, and itâs also helpful for moms who have had a c-section.
Laid back â¨
This natural position can be used from the first breastfeeding. Itâs a good choice for anyone, but it may be especially helpful if youâre nursing a preemie, twins, or a baby that has difficulty latching on. My personal fav.
Whatever position feels right, removes milk effect, and is comfortable for you and baby do it! Nursing a toddler now I can tell you thereâs no rules to this sometimes heâs upside down đĽš
