Job Description

Performs routine clinical and administrative tasks, including recording vital signs, preparing patients for examination, assisting provider during examination, EKG’s, phlebotomy, collection and preparation of laboratory specimen, maintain supplies, and updating patient’s medical record. Demonstrates customer service and patient care excellence at all times. Assumes responsibility and accountability for providing safe and competent direct/indirect nursing care to all patients. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Certified MA preferred but not a must
Prefer two years Urgent Care and/or Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Satisfactory completion of Medical Assistant training program
Experience with EMR systems preferred
Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
Work experience: Prefer two years Urgent Care and/or Internal Medicine or Family Practice

Knowledge: Experience with EMR systems preferred
