We are excited to announce that H.E.A.R.D. is officially relocating to a new building!

This move represents growth, new opportunities, and our continued commitment to serving our community at an even higher level. Our new space will allow us to expand services, create a more welcoming environment, and better support individuals on their recovery journey.

Good morning from all of us here at HEARD. AS I am sure most of you know, we have made the decision to close our RCO building located at 923 Hickory St. However, the building being closed does not mean that we will not still be providing services! Carlotta Powell will be out in the community more than ever! Just give us a call and we will do our best to meet your needs. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to us. On behalf of HEARD, we would like to Thank everyone that has helped us through out the year, wheather with prayer, donations, or other types of support. It is because of all of you that we are able to give back to the community. We have been able to provide hygiene items and warm clothing to the unhoused, provide Christmas for the elderly and provide other services to our community as a whole. We are truly grateful for the love and support we have had. Together we make our community healthier and happier. May God bless you all. We look forward to another amazing year being able to provide services and support to our community.

Together, We Can Make Their Holiday Feel Like Home.

We’re excited to bring holiday cheer to the amazing senior citizens we’ve adopted at The Cottage and The Retreat at Kenwood with about 160 wonderful individuals, we want to ensure they feel remembered and cherished this season.

Many of these seniors often go without Christmas joy and sometimes feel forgotten. This year, let’s make sure they have something special to wake up to!

We’ve created an Amazon wishlist with items that will bring smiles to their faces. If you’d like to contribute, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

Thank you for helping us make this season bright and joyful for our senior community!

We would also like to thank Twelfth Point, Troop 16, pack 16 for hand making the Christmas cards for them!!!

We were so busy Sunday we didn’t get a chance to take many pictures. It was a great turned out for the community.

We got a head start on cooking the soup for tomorrow. We were able to make vegetable beef soup and taco soup. Thank you all who helped with donations.
