Since I graduated, Medicine has taken me to many wonderful places around the world, but the most special and sacred place that it always leads me is close to the patient, in the inner human being.

I thank my wife, my children, my entire family and my blessed team for all constant support and encouragement.

If God allows me to dream of a better world, it is because I can contribute to its creation. So get to work! All that I can learn, teach and do for the sick, I will accomplish!

Uniting passions and knowledge beyond borders! Prior to the World Congress of Neurosurgery in the beautiful city of Cape Town, we had the privilege of gathering neurosurgeons from different parts of the world who also share a love for street running. Together, we embarked on a breathtaking coastal trail, taking advantage of the incredible weather to capture this special moment of international fellowship. In the photo, you can see the athlete neurosurgeons from various countries - Brazil, Scotland, United Kingdom, Indonesia, and South Africa - with the majestic Table Mountain in the background. We take immense pride in practicing both neurosurgery and running, combining mental and physical health along with camaraderie with each stride. May this inspire us all to transcend borders and unite passions for a fulfilling and impactful life!
