🎃 New location for the Halloween Festival this Saturday 🎃

Due to the forecasted wet weather this weekend, the Halloween Festival has been moved indoors. The event will be on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 1-5 p.m. inside the Doyle Convention Center.

This will be a free event with trunk-or-treating, costume contests, games, vendors, food trucks and more!

Please note: with the move indoors, there will not be inflatables, a rock wall or laser tag.

🌊⚓ Full Speed Ahead for Kathryn Apolinar! ⚓🌊

Please join us in celebrating Kathryn, who has been sailing with our center for a little over two years—soon to be three!

🚢 During her journey with us, she has:

✨ Supported the center as an intern while studying for (and passing!) her BCBA Exam
✨ Helped us celebrate the graduation of many successful students
✨ Been a guiding star for multiple new crew members
✨ Played a key role in growing our school and training programs

Since Kathryn came aboard, we’ve even seen two BTs advance to RBT and then BCaBA, with more interns charting their course as we speak! 🧭

She’s truly instrumental in keeping our ship steady through calm waters and storms alike. And now, we are thrilled to announce her next big voyage: Kathryn is officially taking the helm as our new Clinical Director! 🎉

✨ Emilee – We’re celebrating her three-year milestone with SOS! Emilee started with no experience, and in these three years, she has grown tremendously, earning her BCaBA certification and becoming an essential part of our story.

✨ Abigail – Another brilliant team member who began her journey with no experience as well, and we’re excited to share that she has just passed her BCaBA exam!

Both Emilee and Abigail bring passion, dedication, and heart to everything they do, helping our little sailors with autism navigate life’s challenges. 🚢💙

July: Jamie Schwaab

Jamie is new to the crew having joined us the end of June 2025. Within her first month, she demonstrated exemplary action when a client had a medical emergency. Jamie jumped into action until medical assistance arrived. Her dedication allowed her to soar to new heights, becoming an RBT within her first 30 days!

August: Griselda Cantu

Griselda’s teamwork, dedication, and passion for our clients has allowed her to steer through rough waters and keep spirits high on deck. She makes a special connection with each child she interacts with, quickly becoming their favorite RBT!
