Aging In Your Own Home, LLC is an aspiring Home Health Care Agency and is currently looking for the Director of Nursing (DON), who is willing to get on the board and be the part of this organization. Your contribution will not only be limited to fieldwork but also, closely working with board members to help shape company to Industry’s utmost standard. You will be entitled to a quarterly appreciation bonus based on an evaluation by company standards.

Aging In Your Own Home has been working closely with our premier clients for home modification in order to accommodate disabilities and helping Geriatric clients staying in their own homes providing comfort for a longer period of time.

Job Responsibilities, you will:

· Monitor our patients and oversee care to ensure we are operating at the state’s standard and providing excellent customer care.

· You will provide nursing care as defined within the scope of the Texas Nurse Practice Act.

· The DON will be able to make supervisory visits and regularly reevaluate the client's nursing needs.

· Assist in the development of organization goals.

· Develops, recommends, and administers agency policies and procedures.

· Supervise, educate, and coach other nursing personnel/caregiving staff.

· Plans and implement in-service and training programs.

· Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

· Stay informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care.

· Shares information with appropriate organization personnel.

· Promote home health referrals in the health care community.

NOTE: For few months DON will not have to dedicate fixed hours of the workweek but stay on call.

· Requirements: Current unrestricted RN license in the state of TX

· Preferred: BSN or MSN.
Preferred : Kinnser (Wellsky) Experience

· Minimum one (1) year of documented experience in a Home Health Required.

· Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience with one (1) year experience in a Home Health, primary care clinic, or health facility, preferred.

· Reliable car/auto insurance * Clean background and criminal record

· Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations

· Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality

Essential Functions:

1. Attends work as scheduled and follows call-off procedures.
2. Provides assistance with ADLs
3. Provides medication reminders
4. Provides assistance with driving client to doctor's appointments, to run errands, outings, etc.
5. Provides companionship care.
6. Responds quickly and appropriately to all emergencies.
7. Adheres to department’s documentation standards.
8. Maintains close communication with all departments and staff members.
9. Maintains confidentiality of clients and prospective clients information.
10. Adheres to all health and safety regulations and community standards.
We may provide Housing for eligible candidate.
11. Must be able to commute Northwest Austin - 5 minutes from near US 183 and Spicewood Springs Exit.
12. Need Day shift as well as night shift.

1. Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
