This sweet baby turned ONE today! At Hospice Care Team our elite Pediatric “SeaTurtle Team” led by Marissa RN has had the pleasure of taking care of him since he was 5 weeks old. Rodrigo has Trisomy 13, and was only given a few weeks to live when he came on service with us. Children with T13 have a 3% chance of surviving to their first birthday, and a 80% chance of dying in the first month of life. This little fighter has beat all odds! I just had to share these precious pictures from his birthday celebration today with his brothers 💚💙

What a beautiful Memorial Service it was—filled with love, remembrance, and shared stories. Though our dearly departed are no longer with us on this earth, their spirit lives on in our hearts, always.
