Dear residents, family and friends of Bronx Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.



Last week Governor Cuomo issued a press release announcing additional changes for visitation in nursing homes.



We’re excited to say that visitation has finally returned to Bronx Park!!



Of course there are always new regulations that we and you have to follow such as:

Screening and questions about you regarding signs/symptoms for COVID-19;
Additional hand-hygiene protocols;
Use of face coverings/masks;
Six feet of social distancing;
Instructional signage throughout facility;
Cleaning and disinfecting high frequency touched areas;
Staff use of PPE;
Resident and staff weekly testing.


All visitations will still be done by appointment only. Please contact Michelle Ortega, Director of Activities at x 234 to schedule your visit. Visits will take place in the Activities suite located on the main floor. We have privacy dividers so you will have privacy. If the resident has been fully vaccinated then close contact is allowed, including touching.
