In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Lincoln Hospital held our "Journey to Social Justice" forum. We spent this time to reflect and hold dialogue on how we can continue Dr. King’s mission within our own community and having a moving spoken word performance.

We officially opened our new pediatric playroom today! 🧸✨ A heartfelt thank you to John P**n and the family of the late Dr. Maria Jocson for making this renovation possible. Following Dr. Jocson’s passing in 2024, her husband provided the funding for this project in her honor. Dr. Jocson served as a Pediatric Resident at Lincoln from 1990–1993, and these updates—including brand-new toys and games—honor her lasting legacy of service to the South Bronx community.

We are proud to highlight Lincoln Hospital’s participation in the recent Arts in Medicine mural reveal at Woodhull Hospital.

​The project, titled "if we dreamed: A journey of Peace in our Streets," is a powerful collaboration between NYC Health + Hospitals’ Arts in Medicine program and the Hospital-Based Violence Intervention Program (HVIP). This initiative uses the therapeutic power of art to address community violence and promote long-term healing.

The magic of Three Kings Day arrived at Lincoln Hospital today! 👑

​We celebrated with a special toy giveaway for our pediatric patients to wrap up the holiday season. We are proud to serve such a vibrant community and bring a bit of cheer to our patients during their stay. 🎁

​A huge thank you to The Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade for their generous toy donation, and to everyone who helped bring a little extra light to our youngest patients today.
