Engage-Bronx is a joint outreach effort by the Montefiore Prevention Program (Bronx Community Health Network & Montefiore Medical Group) to provide access to high quality health care for the Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Queer, Transgender, & gender diverse communities in the Bronx & NYC. Our health centers (located throughout the Bronx) are caring places for you to feel comfortable and our doctors understand your needs and concerns. We provide ALL primary care health services including: general medical care, HIV/STD testing AND treatment, HIV treatment, PrEP (Truvada®) to help you stay HIV-negative, mental health treatment, counseling, substance abuse treatment, and more. We take most insurances & if you don't have insurance, no problem - you may qualify for free or low-cost care. Call, text, or email for more info!

Of course, there’s nothing sexier than CONSENT. Remember that consent can be retracted at any time through clear communication. Also, just because you don’t say “No” doesn’t mean you are giving consent.
Communication is key to any consensual sexual activity, whether you’re with a long-term partner or with a hookup at 3am. So advocate for yourself and say what you want, or don’t. It’s ok to say no!

Today is our first where we take a step back in time and recognize significant moments in ***rHistory.
Our first moment goes back to 1978 when the original Pride Flag, designed by Gilbert Baker, made its debut at the 1978 San Francisco Gay Freedom Day Parade. The flag initially had eight stripes with a meaning behind each color.

Our FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services include:

• Rapid HIV Testing

• PrEP/PEP Education & Appointments (Pills & Injections)
• LGBTQIA+ Competent Primary Care/Healthcare
• Free or Low-Cost Healthcare, Support & Navigation

In addition, our food pantry is open to all BRONX residents with a valid ID and proof of address.
Pantry hours of operation:
Mondays and Fridays 12pm - 2pm
Wednesdays 10am-12pm.

We also offer Emergency Food Assistance for differently-abled people from 9am-4:30pm.

December is AIDS Awareness Month! Today and honor those we have lost to this disease. We would like to uplift all who are or may be affected by AIDS. Engagebx offers support to the community through free HIV testing, assistance with accessing PrEP and PEP, and referrals to minority-focused providers. If you or someone you know is in need of these services please do not hesitate to reach out. Services are provided by Walk-in or Appointment!
