Gorge Academy is excited to finally announce our partnership with University of Western States in Portland for a Hands-On Workshop on Monday, August 11th at 10am - 2pm.

This class will give you a close-up look at the anatomical structures of the human body by observing dissected human cadavers that have been prepared for medical students at the University of Western States. This will give massage therapists a detailed view of the anatomy that we work with on a daily basis, and help to increase understanding and awareness of the relationships of these structures.

The objective of the course is to gain hands-on experience with human anatomy through direct observation, enhance your palpation skills by identifying anatomical landmarks, improve your ability to create effective treatment plans based on anatomical knowledge, and better understand the relationship between muscles, bones and connective tissue so you can increase understanding to assist your clients with wellness through massage therapy.

Class cost is $299 per person, and registration is available on the Gorge Academy ProClinic website.
