Please join us in celebrating Michael McGowan, February’s Servant Leader of the Month! 🌟

“I am very honored to receive this award when there are so many hardworking people at Watercrest doing amazing work,” Michael shared. “In 2014, I was a passenger in a car accident. My journey through recovery gave me a deep sense of empathy and understanding for people with injuries and how that can impact their life. Having experienced challenges similar to what some of our residents face, I am committed to using that compassion to improve their quality of life in any way I am able.”

That perspective is part of what makes Michael such a meaningful presence in our community. As our Get Active Coach, he keeps residents engaged, encourages proper exercise, and shares healthy eating tips that help support strength and independence. His empathy shows in the way he listens, supports, and meets residents where they are each day.

We’re proud to recognize Michael for the care, consistency, and compassion he brings to our residents and team. Thank you, Michael!
