This morning our team joined in for the Buffalo Stroll with The Village Charter School Autism Center. ☀️

We hit the ground running at the Autism Awareness 5K 🏃made friendship bracelets with new friends 💕, and met so many different providers to give our families more connections and resources. 🌍

Things we love ❤️: multidisciplinary approaches to positive behavior change.

One way this happens, is through intergrating activities that promote inclusion, personal growth, individual confidence, and meaningful life outcomes.

Martial arts, particularly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is one of those activities where research has shown supports neurodivergence in individuals by offering a wide range of positive benefits.

This is why we are honored to support Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Black Belt and World Champion Lucas Pinheiro on his UFC bjj match this Thursday! Lucas is the Professor of Atos Winter Garden Bjj Academy. Lucas’ mission for teaching and coaching jiu-jitsu is very similar to our therapy mission- to provide opportunities to those who need it most.

You can watch Lucas UFC jiu-jitsu match tomorrow, Thursday December 11 at 8pm eastern on UFC Fightpass on YouTube. UFC Fight Pass
