Our residents, families, and guests truly enjoyed the opportunity to learn, engage, and connect with so many wonderful people. We are especially grateful to all of the amazing vendors who came out and helped make this event such a success.

Every other Thursday at Sumter Senior Living, things get a little competitive in the best way possible!

Our Memory Care residents face off with our Assisted Living residents in a fun and engaging game of Balloon Chair Volleyball. While we may be on different teams, the real goal is working together by counting our total hits and encouraging positive, supportive play.

Using a soft balloon allows residents of all ability levels to participate, move their bodies, and stay active in a safe and enjoyable way.

Today, we turned up the energy! What’s usually a 30-minute activity became a full hour of movement, laughter, and teamwork. We consistently exceeded 50 hits per round and even broke 100!

Residents here at Sumter had a wonderful time enjoying a special visit from Bella's Petting Zoo. The community was filled with smiles and laughter as residents spent time petting and interacting with the friendly animals.

From gentle goats to soft bunnies, the petting zoo brought joy, excitement, and a touch of the outdoors right to our doorstep. It was a heartwarming experience that created beautiful moments and lasting memories for everyone who participated. 🐰 🐐 🐥 🐖

Today our residents at Sumter Senior Living had an amazing time celebrating Earth Day with a fun and creative rock painting activity. The residents truly enjoyed expressing their creativity as they painted colorful designs, uplifting messages, and beautiful patterns on their rocks.

It was wonderful to see everyone smiling, laughing, and spending time together during this special activity. After finishing their artwork, the residents placed their painted rocks throughout the community for others to see and enjoy.

It was a great way to celebrate Earth Day while spreading a little extra joy and color around Sumter Senior Living.🌎🪨💜🎨🖌
