TROPICAL STORM IDALIA

For the safety of our patients and staff, our office will be CLOSED on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

We anticipate to re-open on Thursday, August 31, 2023 with our regular business hours.

Village Dermatology will continue to watch for updates throughout the week as Idalia continues to progress. Should the situation changes, we will notify all of our affected patients immediately.

While it’s still early in the week and Idalia’s path/strength may change, it is still very important to be as prepared as possible.

Governor DeSantis has issued a state of Emergency to some of Florida's counties, including Sumter county.

Village Dermatology will continue to watch for updates throughout the week as Idalia continues to progress. We will remain open with regular business hours until further notice. If you are a patient and have an upcoming appointment with us, you may contact the office at 352-751-6565 to confirm if the office is closed or not.

The Front Office Clerk is responsible for: greeting patients, checking patients out after their visit, and scheduling patient appointments. They are the first contact patient have; therefore, they set the atmosphere that must reflect the level of standards and care that patient can expect to receive from the practice.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience:

1. High School (GED) Diploma.
2. Some customer service.
3. Work experience in a medical office is a plus.
4. Word processing, data entry, and computer experience.
5. Basic computer knowledge, able to operate standard office equipment.
6. Interpersonal skills to deal effectively and courteously with patients.
7. Good verbal and written communication skills. Correct grammar and spelling skills.
8. Must be able to multi-task.
9. Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others.
10. Skills in answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner and using a multi-line phone system.
