Not perfectly—but consciously ✊🏾

Today begins Black History Month, and this month also marks 20 years of recovery for me

Twenty years of breaking patterns, unlearning survival habits, healing what I didn’t cause, and choosing responsibility over excuses.

I didn’t wake up by accident. I woke up because somewhere along the way, I decided my life was worth fighting for.

If you’re the one in your family doing the work;
the healing, the boundary-setting, the rebuilding—
know this: you are not late.

You are right on time.

This isn’t just history. It’s legacy in real time.

My Prayer for You….

…is that peace finds you, even in the places you don’t talk about.

That joy meets you at your doorstep in unexpected ways.

That the strength you’ve shown quietly continues to grow louder in your spirit.

That you never question your worth, your purpose, or how deeply loved you are; by me, and by the God who created you so intentionally.

I pray that as you walk into this next season, doors open with ease, your steps are guided with grace, and your heart feels safe in the spaces you call home.

I thank God for the woman you’re becoming.

For the way you keep showing up for your life, even when it’s hard.

For the light in you that no circumstance could dim.

I pray that favor follows you, wisdom surrounds you, and that laughter fills your days.

That you continue to rise, not just because you have to, but because you were built to.

5/25 but we celebrated Peyton’s High 🖐🏾 today.

My grand-baby is 5 years old, I’m so privileged to stand in the gap, ensuring that I sow into her healthy development and growth.

She is such a social butterfly, full of personality, intelligent, smart, articulate and full of sass 😒 keeps me and Papa on our toes for sure!

I’m a good Mother but honey I’m an even better Grandmother OK!

Thank you to my village, all who celebrated with in person and in spirit!!
