1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss.

As you scroll social media during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, you may realize just how common pregnancy loss is. But that doesn’t make it any easier. That doesn’t mean it matters any less. Losing a pregnancy at any stage is emotionally, physically, and mentally taxing, and that baby (or babies) that could’ve been will always be a part of you.

If you’ve experienced pregnancy loss or are currently going through it, we hope this helps explain what’s happening with your body, your options are moving forward, and that you’re not alone. Most importantly, we hope you understand nothing you did or didn’t do caused your miscarriage — most pregnancy loss is due to chromosomal abnormalities or uterine issues.

In the meantime, we’re holding space for you ❤️.

At CCRM Fertility, we believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to family-building, and that everyone deserves the right to high-quality fertility care.

We’re breaking down the news of the White House’s proposed policy initiative that would improve affordability and access to IVF and fertility care across the U.S., and what these changes could mean for families struggling with infertility.

The proposed measures include:

Lowering the costs of fertility medications such as Gonal-F ✔️
Expanding access to innovative drug formulations ✔️
Creating pathways for small businesses to offer fertility benefits separate from traditional medical coverage ✔️
Questions on what this could mean for you? Thoughts? Tell us below.

Today, October 15, is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day, when the infertility and loss communities honor their pregnancies and babies gone too soon.

The International Wave of Light is a social media movement that invites people to share photos of the candles they light to remember the little lives that continue to shine on in memory.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day is about breaking the taboo, bringing awareness to infertility and loss and recognizing the quiet strength of a community that has experienced profound grief. That’s the thing about infertility and loss warriors: it’s the worst club with the best members.

From our CCRM Fertility family to yours, we’re sending you love and light today and always.
