✨ HOW I “DO IT ALL” AS A WORKING MOM ✨
Wake up at 5 am
Journal in one hour of silence
Workout in my coordinated Alo set
Pack 3 Pinterest-worthy lunches my kids LOVE
Clean for 5 minutes a day to keep a spotless home
Drink a gallon of water
Do a full glam makeup for school drop off
Jk, jk! April FOOLS 🌸
Here’s the truth:
I don’t do it all. And neither does any mom you know.
After working with hundreds of women, one thing I do know is that we have been sold the lie that we can “do it all” if we try or “mom hack” hard enough.
What if we flipped the script and set the goal of living a life that feels content and aligned with our values and dreams rather than doing EVERYTHING all at once?
Some days I wake up early to work out AND have an extra afternoon coffee, or, if I’m lucky, a power nap.
Some days I prioritize an outing with the kids AND go to bed with my house messy.
Some days work gets more of me, AND I plan a family fun night for the weekend to reconnect.
And instead of chasing this impossible standard…
I choose my priority in the present moment and let the s**t that didn’t get done go.
I choose to opt out of the rat race that tells us we should be everything to everyone, all at once.
Whether you’re a working mom or a stay-at-home mom, you can set the pace of the life you want to be living, one intentional moment at a time, even while the world races on behind you.
You’re allowed to slow down.
You’re allowed to leave dirty dishes in the sink.
You’re allowed to build a life that actually feels good to live.
✨ Here’s to not doing it all… instead choosing what you want to prioritize in life’s everyday moments.
If this resonates, share what you’re choosing to prioritize in this season and follow along for more.
