Hi! I’m Dr. Amanda Ramos-Rubalcava, a doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder and owner of AMR Family Care Clinic. I’ve been in healthcare for over 15 years and have had the privilege of caring for patients across the spectrum. I have worked in pediatric and adult ER/trauma, NICU, infectious disease, and breastfeeding medicine. These experiences shaped the way I care for families today.

With a strong foundation in functional medicine, I focus on getting to the why behind symptoms, not just managing them. I’m pro-parent choice and deeply value informed, collaborative care that honors each patient’s and family’s values, goals, and lifestyle.

My passion is working alongside you to navigate both acute and chronic concerns and help you feel your best inside and out.

3. Prescribe More Sleep (and Actually Mean It)
Yes, scrolling at midnight counts as non-compliance.
4. Talk About Food Without Saying “Just Eat Less”
Real nourishment > sad diets.
5. Remind Patients That Healing Takes Time
This is functional medicine, not a drive-thru.
6. Practice What We Preach
Hydrate. Move. Breathe. Repeat. (We’re working on it.)

We like many others are trying to do our part in helping our fellow Texans in the aftermath of this catastrophic event. We will be making a trip to the hill country to drop off much needs supplies.
