The night opens gently.
Soft light floats on water.
Nothing demands attention.
Everything feels aware.

When missing you finds me.
Gratitude follows close behind.
Not to soften the ache.
But to give it meaning.

You were a gift I held.
Not briefly.
But fully.
And that matters now.

The memory glows quietly.
Not sharp.
Not heavy.
Just present.

I don’t rush past this feeling.
I let both truths exist.
The loss.
And the luck.

Love doesn’t leave empty space.
It leaves something shaped.
Something permanent.
Something mine.

Bullying has been around for a long time. It happens whenever someone or a group sees another person as different or less important.

What has changed is that bullying and cyberbullying now have stronger and longer-lasting emotional effects, often unrecognized as grief.

Have you experienced a loss that’s left you feeling stuck, isolated, or unsure how to move forward? Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or another painful life change, grief can touch every part of who we are. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m Karen, a Grief Recovery Method Specialist with a Master’s degree in Psychology and a background in early childhood trauma, loss, and grief. My passion is helping individuals find healing and peace after life’s most difficult transitions.

I also have a special commitment to supporting first responders, military service members, and their families as they face the unique challenges of trauma and loss.

My own journey with grief—losing both of my parents in consecutive years—taught me how deeply loss can affect us. During that time, my son introduced me to the Grief Recovery Method, and it changed the course of my life.

The tools and perspective I gained inspired me to dedicate my work to helping others find hope and wholeness again.

The Grief Recovery Method is an evidence-based, action-oriented program designed to help you identify, process, and release the pain of loss.

Together, we’ll create a safe, compassionate space for you to explore your grief and discover healthy ways to heal—so you can begin to live with greater peace and purpose.

I offer one-on-one sessions and small group programs, both in person and online. I currently serve clients in The Woodlands, Texas, as well as those nationwide through virtual sessions.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing, I invite you to reach out by phone, text, or email. You don’t have to walk this path alone—healing is possible, and I’m here to help you begin.

With love and care, Karen

Healing isn’t the absence of pain,
it’s learning who I am now,
standing in the quiet space
you once occupied.

When you left, something in me followed,
not all at once,
but slowly, in pieces
I still notice missing.

I move through familiar routines,
yet they feel altered, unfinished,
as if I’m living a version of myself
that hasn’t fully returned.

I search for the person I was before,
the one who laughed easier,
the one who didn’t measure days
by how much they hurt.

Some parts come back softly,
others resist being found,
as if they belong to a time
that can’t be revisited.

So I heal by meeting myself again,
patiently, without forcing answers,
learning who I am becoming
while carrying who I loved.
