📱 New Research Worth Noting for Parents

A recent study published by the American Academy of Pediatrics found that children who receive a smartphone at a younger age—particularly before age 12—may be at higher risk for challenges related to mental health, sleep, and overall well-being as they move into adolescence.

The study links earlier smartphone ownership to increased rates of:
• Depression
• Poor sleep
• Weight-related health concerns
