Always a great review of Peter Attia’s points. Of all of these, the main thing I see in the practice is debility due to the loss of muscle mass and strength. It’s profoundly important to healthspan, a high quality life as we age. Of course we want to live longer; but if it’s in a wheelchair, or dependent on a walker to keep from falling or assist with ambulating, the quality declines and frailty increases.
Particularly important is core - legs (quads, hams, glutes, and abs). At the very least do chair squats (repetitive sitting standing). By the time I tell this to patients, it’s always a little late.
