I haven't posted on NI because I've left it to my special middle daughter, Marcia to keep something interesting for my many, many friends who are keen on mother nature. But I'll say this, there is a world of potential medical benefits in Cannabinoids.

Chronic pain is especially receptive, as the agonist binding sites for pain receptors for endocannabinoids are not the same as opoinoids receptors.

Cannabinoids may be evolving into a scientific/medical basis for common treatments. The science is already established the endocannabinoid neural system as a new frontier in treating many brain-related diseases. Since the brain is the final deport for the afferent nervous system it's time that THC is looked at more intensely. It's binding affinity is not exclusively tied to EC1 and EC2 (the euphoric pathway) but should be looked at as pain medicine.
