💗 OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 💗

Did you know that chemotherapy, radiation, and certain medications used during breast cancer treatment can affect oral health — increasing the risk of dry mouth, gum issues, mouth sores, and tooth sensitivity?

🦷 Our tips for patients going through treatment:

• Use a soft-bristle toothbrush and brush gently twice a day
• Rinse with an alcohol-free mouthwash or mild saltwater rinse
• Choose toothpaste designed for sensitivity and enamel repair
• Keep up with regular dental checkups
