We are an alignment based hatha yoga studio offering 18 kinds of classes for all levels between our unheated and hot yoga rooms. Beginner classes include: Seniors, Hatha 1: Gentle, Hatha 2: Basics, Core Balance, Yin, Restorative, Yoga Shape and Hot Slow Flow. I found yoga during a time of deep personal change—it became a way to reconnect with myself.

What made me fall in love with it

Yoga didn’t just change my body—it grounded my mind and gave me a sense of inner stability I hadn’t felt before.

What I love about teaching yoga

Watching people shift—from tension to ease, from thinking to feeling. That transformation never gets old.

The classes I teach

Functional, trauma-aware flows, gentle, all-inclusive, focused on strength, mobility, and nervous system regulation—designed for real bodies in real lives.

Where to find me / what inspires me

I get inspired by travelling, social interactions with like-minded people. Often attending my colleagues’ classes, mindful movement , music, and the belief that healing happens through the body, as long as, you are willing to be present in it.

🧘‍♀️ From Running on Empty to Running on Agency

I didn’t find yoga. Yoga found me—right when I needed it most.
I was in my early 40s, newly divorced, raising teenagers. My favorite modalities were running (literally), dance fitness, and trying to keep my head above water. I walked into a yoga class looking for the stretching, and walked out with:
✨ A body I finally understood
✨ A mind that could occasionally be quiet
✨ A community that welcomed my mess
The Teaching Plot Twist:
I took teacher training as a gift to myself, but when opportunities appeared, my marketing brain said “say yes & figure it out.” Now I teach 3 weekly classes in public schools, working mostly with faculty & staff. My focus: functional fitness, helping educators find safety, agency, and options in their own bodies.
At the Studio:
I’m your random midmorning-to-early-afternoon sub (Reasons: 1, Not nice before coffee. 2, Not nice after dinner. 3, Cats need me). I love this community—warm, real, inclusive. You’ll see me in class, too; teachers need to stay students.
Behind the Mat:

The name is a gift from my youngest bonus daughter—back when she needed something to call this crazy new woman in her dad’s life. It was not a nice name at the time, but we’re close now, the sarcasm has faded, and I wear it with pride.
