“This girl is gonna hear today” — and she did!

Meet Fredericka. She’s had progressive hearing loss in both ears since childhood. Even with powerful hearing aids, understanding speech became nearly impossible. But everything changed when she received her first cochlear implant.

At the end of her appointment, she looked up and said, “Is that you typing?” — she was hearing the sound of a keyboard for the very first time.

It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful access to sound can be.

The All Ears! Center mission is to serve babies and children who are deaf and hard of hearing. We now see adults who need state of the art hearing technology too. We first introduced you to Talia back in December when she visited us for her first ABR (auditory brainstem response) test. Born at just 23 weeks, weighing 1 lb 6 oz, and spending 143 days in the NICU, this little warrior has already overcome so much!

Recently, sweet Talia came back to All Ears! Center for follow-up hearing monitoring due to her risk factors for hearing loss. We’re happy to share that her hearing is still normal in both ears — and we’ll continue to monitor it as she grows.

She just came off oxygen last month and is thriving! Talia was born at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, and her mom is so thankful for their incredible NICU team.

Say hello to Remmington!

At just 19 years old, Remmington takes full responsibility for his hearing care— showing incredible independence and dedication.

He’s been wearing hearing aids since age 14 and was just fit with new hearing aids right here at All Ears! Center.

Thriving in life and chasing big dreams, Remmington is planning to become an underwater welder—and we have no doubt he’ll make waves in the world!

We’re so proud of his drive, focus, and future—it’s going to be a bright (and loud!) one!
