You don’t need to have a “good enough reason” to feel overwhelmed.

A lot of people think their struggles only count if they can justify them.
If it’s “bad enough.”
If other people would understand.

So they downplay it.
Push it aside.
Tell themselves they should be fine.

But your nervous system doesn’t measure your experience that way.
It responds to what feels like too much, whether it makes sense or not.

You’re allowed to feel what you feel
without explaining it
without comparing it
without proving it.

And you don’t have to sort through it alone.

“I should be able to handle this.”

This is one of the most common thoughts I hear.
And it keeps people stuck longer than anything else.

Because underneath that thought is usually shame.
A belief that something is wrong with you for struggling.

So instead of slowing down or getting support…
you push through.
You minimize what you’re feeling.
You tell yourself it’s “not that bad.”

But your nervous system doesn’t respond to pressure.
It responds to safety.

And healing doesn’t start when you try harder.
It starts when you begin to understand what you’re actually carrying.

You’re not supposed to handle everything on your own.
And needing support doesn’t mean you’re not capable.

It means you’re human.
