KG Occupational Therapy LLC This is the beginning of a new chapter in my professional journey. It's amazing!! Our bodies are amazing!!

In both my personal and professional life experience, I have realized that there are lessons to learn and a blessing in each and every situation and relationship. I am so excited to be in the Healing Emphasis Yoga (HEY) 300 hour yoga therapy program through Inner Vision Yoga! I am now trained in several techniques which can be incorporated into anyone's daily routines for improved life balance, vi

tality, self-love, and wellness. Yoga Nidra is one of my favorites and is a total relaxation practice to relieve muscular tension, emotional tension, and mental tension. Yin Yoga is another favorite which targets connective tissue by holding shapes for longer periods of time to stimulate energy flow through the body, remove blockages, develop emotionally, increase flexibility, and stimulate the body's meridians. Psoas Release incorporates exercises and asana to help us become aware of our thinking body and our feeling body in order to let go of past traumas, fears, or experiences which are keeping us stuck. I have loved every part of my education including meridian theories, anatomy, physiology, neurology, alignment and how yoga poses can bring body organs back into balance and help us find and love our true selves!!! Chair Yoga Classes 2:30-3:30pm

Yoga on the Mat Classes 3:45-4:45pm


Chair Yoga (yoga session done without getting on the floor or a mat, most of session done sitting in a chair or standing next to a chair)


Yoga on the Mat (if you can get up and off the floor, will be using a yoga mat)


$30.00 for each 3-week series

Supplies needed: Yoga mat if you are not doing the Chair Yoga class, water and a hand towel. Optional: yoga strap, yoga blanket/bolster, eye pillow, yoga blocks

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue through longer held, stationary postures, or asanas. It is the counterpart of Yang movements which are more muscular and active in nature. Each meridian pair targets specific organs and has emotional, physical, mental, and energetic principles associated with it. This practice involves more inward focus and meditation than an active, yang sequence.
