Before becoming an occupational therapist, Kara studied art—a background that inspires her to be creative and think outside the box when planning interventions. She is passionate about helping others, understanding what makes each person unique, and designing client-centered treatment plans that truly improve quality of life.

Kara brings experience across many areas, including:
🎨 Adolescents with Autism and complex physical disabilities
✋ Hand therapy & outpatient orthopedics
🧠 Cognitive therapy
👵 Supporting independence with ADLs in the geriatric population

Kara will be supporting RYTE’s school-based services, helping students grow in skills, confidence, and independence. 💙

Kristen has been practicing physical therapy for 7 years and is passionate about helping patients restore movement and improve quality of life. She specializes in:

Last weekend, the RYTE Rehabilitation crew traded clinic floors for river rocks and hit the water for some team bonding—and who better to guide us than our newest Physical Therapist and expert river navigator?!

From wild rapids to even wilder laughs, we proved we can paddle as well as we treat. 💪

Big thanks to Dr. Kristen Petros for keeping us afloat (literally) and bringing even more energy to our amazing team.
