Confluence combines a farm-based residential care setting with the prescriptive use of outdoor adventure and wilderness experiences. The program guides young adults towards engaged, positive and fulfilling lives.

When a young adult doesn't have a sense of confidence, independence, or purpose in their life, it can negatively impact their ability to thrive. It can lead to them becoming overly reliant on loved ones for support to do basic life tasks, which not only erodes their own sense of self but can also cause individuals in their lives to become resentful.
