The Southeastern Regional Team gathered in beautiful Bay St. Louis, MS for our Strategic Planning Meeting August 20–22 — and we didn’t just plan… we PLAYED! 🙌

Our team-building activity was an action-packed Scavenger Hunt inspired by The Amazing Race, charades, and trivia. In just 90 minutes, teams dashed through this historic little town completing 25+ missions — from silly challenges to brain teasers!

🏆 And the winners are…
🥇 LOUISIANA — Champions of the Hunt!
🥈 MS/FL — A close second!
🥉 ALABAMA — Strong finish!

It was a highly successful and motivational meeting, and we’re already looking forward to making this annual tradition even bigger and better next year! 💪✨

Why do MRI machines make so much noise? This is actually a very common question. Noises associated with MRI machines have been compared to hearing a jackhammer a few feet away. You should be aware that these noises are normal and are not an indication that anything is wrong with the machine, but rather an indication that the machine is doing what it is supposed to.

SIS has been hard at work visiting providers, clinics, and schools that are in full swing caring for student athletes at both the high school and college levels.

They recently sponsored lunch for providers and athletic trainers during team physicals—where providers from Montgomery, Tuskegee, and Auburn University came together to ensure athletes are ready for the season ahead.

Due to the projected path of Hurricane Francine, Capitol Imaging Services will close the following sites on Wednesday, September 11th, with plans to reopen on Thursday, September 12th:

- New Orleans Area - All Southshore and Northshore sites
- Baton Rouge - All sites
- Lafayette - Advanced Imaging of Lafayette
- Lake Charles - LA PET/CT of Lake Charles

Updates will be posted as more information becomes available.

The Chiropractic Association of Louisiana (CAL) celebrated their 50th year anniversary at their annual convention held in Baton Rouge on August 23rd – 25th.

As in the past, the CIS' Louisiana sales team came out to support this association and show their appreciation to its members.

When communities unite to fight breast cancer, great things happen. By tapping into the power of pink, Men Wear Pink has raised more than $40 million since its inception which fuels a live 24/7 helpline for answers and support, breakthrough breast research, and so much more.

The 2024 campaign kickoff for Men Wear Pink to benefit the American Cancer Society was held Wednesday, August 14, at Lula Distillery.

Shawn Phelan, Director of Project Management, (pictured in the middle) will be representing CIS again this year. He will be helping to reach the overall campaign goal of $250,000 this year.

Sales team members of Capitol Imaging Services attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 9th, 2024, for the new DePaul Community Health Centers located in Algiers, LA.

This beautiful new health center is 20,000 square feet and will bring imaging, urgent care services, primary and preventive care and more to the community. DePaul has been sending patients to us for years and we appreciate their trust in us!
