Here’s how small changes can bring BIG improvements 🤍

Oral motor skills play such an important role in feeding, and so many parents don’t realize how much the mouth, tongue, cheeks, and jaw all work together during feeds.

When babies struggle with oral coordination or tension, we may see:

👶 Difficulty latching
👶 Poor tongue movement
👶 Weak suction or seal
👶 Frustration during feeds
👶 Difficulty staying organized while eating
👶 Increased air intake and fatigue

That’s why oral motor support can be so helpful.

And one of my favorite simple tools? Teethers ✨

The right teethers can help support:

🦷 Tongue movement and awareness
🦷 Jaw strength and stability
🦷 Cheek engagement
🦷 Oral exploration and coordination
🦷 Better overall feeding skills

Small, intentional exercises and tools can help babies build the strength and coordination they need for more efficient feeding.

💛 My Oral Motor Guide gives parents therapist-created videos, easy-to-follow exercises, and practical strategies you can use right at home to confidently support your baby’s feeding journey.

You don’t have to keep guessing what your baby needs.

Parents often ask me what they can be doing at home to support their baby… and honestly, body stretching is one of my favorite places to start 🤍

Many babies hold tension throughout their neck, shoulders, jaw, and body without parents even realizing it.

That tension can impact:

👶 Feeding comfort and coordination
👶 Head positioning and movement
👶 Tummy time tolerance
👶 Overall regulation and comfort
👶 Oral function and latch
👶 Muscle balance and development

And for babies wearing helmets, reducing tension and improving movement patterns can be especially important.

When babies are tight or prefer certain positions, it can affect how they move, rest, feed, and tolerate repositioning throughout the day.

Gentle body stretching can help babies feel more comfortable, move more freely, and support overall development in a meaningful way.

💛 The Feeding Connections Collection gives parents therapist-created videos, stretches, oral motor support, and easy-to-follow strategies you can confidently use right at home to support your baby during those first months.

Small, intentional support can create BIG changes over time ✨

✨ Here 👇 comment “TIES” for my Oral Restriction Guide ✨

Parents struggling with tongue & lip ties almost always forget this… body tension matters too 🤍

When babies have oral restrictions, we often see tension throughout the jaw, neck, shoulders, and floor of the mouth.

That tension can impact:

👶 Tongue movement and elevation
👶 Latch and suction
👶 Feeding coordination
👶 Comfort during feeds
👶 Overall oral function

That’s why body stretching can be such an important piece of the puzzle.

Gentle stretches and movement techniques can help reduce tension throughout the body and support stretching through the floor of the mouth—helping babies move and function more efficiently during feeds.

So many parents focus only on the mouth, but feeding is connected to the entire body.

💛 My Oral Restriction Guide helps parents understand how to support babies both before and after revisions with therapist-created videos, stretches, oral motor support, and easy-to-follow strategies you can use right at home.

You don’t have to feel overwhelmed trying to figure this out alone.

POV: you learned how to reduce tension in a meaningful way 🤍

So many babies hold tension throughout their mouth, cheeks, jaw, neck, and body… and parents often don’t even realize how much it can impact feeding and overall comfort.

When babies are tense, feeds can feel harder, movement can feel restricted, and babies may struggle to stay calm and organized.

The good news? Small, intentional oral motor support can make such a big difference.

👶 Help reduce oral tension
👶 Support tongue and jaw movement
👶 Improve feeding coordination
👶 Encourage better latch and seal
👶 Support regulation and comfort
👶 Create calmer, smoother feeds

And it doesn’t have to feel overwhelming.

💛 My Oral Motor Guide gives parents therapist-created videos, easy-to-follow exercises, and practical strategies you can use right at home to confidently support your baby during those first months.

You don’t have to keep guessing how to help your baby feel better.

Something most parents don’t realize… a white tongue after feeding can sometimes be a sign of oral restriction 🤍

Many parents notice milk sitting on baby’s tongue after feeds and assume it’s completely normal… but sometimes it can point to the tongue not moving efficiently during feeding.

When the tongue isn’t elevating, cupping, or coordinating the way it should, milk residue may stay on the tongue instead of being cleared naturally during sucking and swallowing.

This can sometimes happen alongside:

👶 Difficulty staying latched
👶 Clicking during feeds
👶 Poor suction or seal
👶 Leaking milk
👶 Increased air intake
👶 Frustration during feeds
👶 Fatigue while eating

It’s one of those subtle signs parents are rarely told to look for, but it can give important clues about oral function and feeding efficiency.

The earlier parents understand these small signs, the sooner they can begin supporting feeding in a way that actually helps.

💛 That’s exactly why I created the Feeding Connections Collection — to help parents better understand feeding with therapist-created videos, handouts, and simple strategies you can use right at home.

You don’t have to keep second guessing what you’re seeing.
