E.R. Earl is known in Santa's workshop for building top-notch toys, so he couldn't resist lending his skills to the Batson-Cook Construction crew! 🪚✨ Superintendent Johnathon even made him an honorary apprentice and gave our tiny toy maker a special tour of the ICU and Labor & Delivery construction site. 🎄

Rudolph's red nose is so bright that it's been giving E.R. Earl migraines. 🦌🚨Luckily for him, Michael W. Savelle, Jr., NP-C's office in Barnesville offers Botox treatment for migraines.

Did you know Botox isn’t just for wrinkles? It’s also an FDA-approved treatment for chronic migraines. By relaxing overactive nerve signals, Botox can help reduce the frequency and severity of migraine headaches—giving patients more pain-free days.

Ever wonder what the "E.R" in E.R. Earl stands for? Emergency Room. 🚑🏥

This accident-prone elf got his nickname from the number of times he's visited URMC's Emergency Department. He's back again, this time for a bump on the head after falling off the shelf. Thanks to nurse Stephen's excellent care, our elf friend is feeling much better! 🩺💙

Open 24/7, including holidays and weekends, URMC's E.D. can handle hundreds of emergency conditions, including heart attack, stroke, broken bones, severe bleeding, spinal injuries, and yes, elves' falls from shelves.

Looks like ER Earl is getting the full ICU experience—leads, cords, and all! Don’t worry; he’s in good hands, thanks to our Intensivist Program. 💙💚

What does that mean for you?

An intensivist is a doctor specially trained to care for critically ill patients in the ICU. With this program, we can provide advanced, around-the-clock care right here at Upson—reducing the need for transfers and keeping patients close to home and family.

Because when it comes to your health, every second counts—and every mile matters. 🩺

"Well, in Thomaston they say, the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day," thanks to E.R. Earl! đź’“ On the eighth day of Christmas, E.R. Earl installed a pacemaker in the Cath Lab to keep the Grinch's heartbeat steady.

When your heart skips a beat (and not just from Christmas excitement), a pacemaker can help keep it on track. At URMC, we offer advanced cardiac care close to home, so your heart stays happy all year long! đź’šđź’™

E.R. Earl is back on his feet—well, almost! After getting his cast removed, he started physical therapy but confessed he’s been skipping exercises for candy breaks. 🍬 PT Aide Carlee checked his range of motion and discovered her elf patient's progress is as slow as Santa’s sleigh without reindeer!

At URMC, our physical therapists and expert team work hard to restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent long-term physical disabilities—even when holiday mischief gets in the way. 🩺✨
