We partnered with Harborview Health Systems of Thomaston to deliver lunch to our incredible first responders across Upson County as a small token of appreciation for the dedication, sacrifice, and care they show our community every single day.
From the early mornings to the late-night calls, these men and women are always there when our community needs them most — and we are so thankful for all they do. ❤️
Thank you to every firefighter, police officer, sheriff deputy, paramedic, dispatcher, and emergency personnel serving Upson County. Your commitment does not go unnoticed.

The Thomaston Hospice Foundation is now accepting applications for TWO scholarships to support future healthcare professionals! 💙✨
Eligibility Requirements:
✅ Must be a senior at a Thomaston/Upson County school
✅ Current transcript & SAT/ACT scores required
✅ Picture I.D. submission
✅ Two letters of recommendation (excluding family members)
✅ Acceptance letter from an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or technical school
✅ Must enroll in the Fall semester following high school graduation
✅ One-page typed essay on your desire to work in healthcare and how it relates to hospice care (including personal, work, or volunteer experiences)
✅ Positive consideration for applicants with volunteer experience in the medical field
✅ Interview with the Thomaston Hospice Foundation Scholarship Committee
Deadline:
Submit your application via email to info@thomastonhospice.com or in person at 512 South Center Street, Thomaston, GA 30286 by 5:00 p.m. on April 27, 2026.
Scholarship Announcement:
