When baby Kalayah Nicole Davis was born in May at Upson Regional Medical Center, she weighed in at just 3 lbs. As a facilty recognized by the Georgia Department of Public Health with a Maternal Levels of Care II verification, our staff and physicians were able to keep Kalayah at Upson Regional and provide the care needed to help her grow and develop.

When Kalayah was able to go home, she weighed 4 lbs and 11 ounces. In this video highlight, Dr. Moga speaks about the care we offer to expectant mothers and babies in our community. Kalayah's mother, Raven, shares how important being able to visit her daughter each day was during her time at URMC.
