It is with a heavy heart that I am posting at this time as we are all under tight budgets and worried about what the future may bring. Heritage is in need of financial support to continue our services to our families in need. As a community we have served Thomaston and surrounding counties since 1992 and as needs have changed we have tried to add services to meet those needs. As Giving Tuesday December 2, 2025 is fast approaching we ask that you consider donating to our cause so that we may be able to help save lives, bring families to Christ,and help these families get the resources they so desperately need.

It is with great pleasure that I can announce our name change from Heritage Women’s Resource Center to Heritage Family Resource Center Inc. As the needs for our communities change we wanted our ministry to serve the whole family in need. Our services are not changing we are just including all family members and adding services to include fathers, grandparents etc.
We love your continued support as we fill the needs of those who need us most.

It is with great pleasure that I can let everyone know that Heritage Women’s Resource Center has changed their name to Heritage Family Resource Center Inc. As times and families have changed we want to offer our services to all family members including fathers, grandparents, and of course still serve our mothers, and babies. Our ministry is expanding to serve the whole family as their needs change. We will continue all of our previous services but are able to add new ones for everyone. Please continue to support our center as we grow in this ministry.

In observance of the Labor Day Holiday Heritage Women’s Resource Center will be closed Monday September 1, 2025.

We are finally back to business. Thank you for your patience and support during our time with our heating being out. A big thank you to White Heating and Air for getting us back up and running.
We have our Baby Bottle Fundraiser coming up beginning Mother’s Day through Father’s Day so churches, area businesses etc. come get your bottles or we can bring them to you. We have some new classes coming and are looking forward to meeting the needs of moms and dads. Call or come by 706-647-8602 601 S. Center st. Thomaston Ga. 30286.

Just to update everyone we are in the process of getting a new heating unit for the center. I ask that everyone please be patient with us as this has been a process. The center will reopen as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we will be in soon to continue our ministry in the community.
