Thomaston Counseling Center offers supervised visits tailored to diverse family structures and children. We provide private visits, exclusively for you and your children, as well as group visits with other families.
Most visits typically range from one to three hours or can be divided throughout the week as needed.

Our Intern has couple of spots still open to be able to provide therapy at NO cost to you, during her practicum internship. This includes individuals and families. All ages and backgrounds.

ABOUT Krista:
Krista Centeno is a graduate student in Counseling and Human Services, currently completing her practicum at Thomaston Counseling Center in Connecticut while also working as a Case Manager at Connecticut Community Care. She is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and brings experience as a Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) working with children diagnosed with Autism.

Krista has a strong passion for supporting Veterans and their families, with a focus on helping individuals navigate mental health challenges, reintegration into civilian life, and overall well-being. Her trauma-informed, person-centered approach emphasizes empathy, respect, and collaboration. She is particularly interested in peer support, family therapy, and community-based interventions, and is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment for every client she serves. Krista is committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and expanding access to effective, compassionate care.
