We were honored to serve a retired City of Thomasville firefighter with a final tribute worthy of his years of dedication and service to the city.

As family, friends, and fellow firefighters gathered to say goodbye, his journey to the cemetery was made aboard this beautifully restored 1948 Mack Fire Truck.

It was a privilege for us to help coordinate this meaningful tribute and witness the respect shown by the fire service community.

Our hearts are with our neighbors in Lexington following the devastating fire that impacted several local businesses. During difficult moments like these, communities come together. We’re keeping all business owners, employees, first responders, and everyone affected in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.

Last night, our Uptown Lexington community suffered a heartbreaking loss as several beloved local businesses were affected by fire, including The Candy Factory, Shoto’s, Bagels and More, and Main Street Deli.
These are more than businesses — they are part of the heart of our town and the people behind them are friends, neighbors, and hardworking members of this community we all love so much.
Our prayers are with every owner, employee, family, and first responder impacted. We know the road ahead will not be easy, but we also know the strength of this community. Lexington always shows up for its own.
We are believing brighter days are ahead, and in time, these places will rise again. ❤️

Julie Bryant: “Since retiring from the teaching profession, I knew that I still had the desire to be a supportive presence in my community. What better way to give back than to be part of a professional team at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home. I am a lifelong resident of this area and proud to be working with a family owned service that has been in operation since 1895. It is truly a blessing to work with a staff that realizes that each grief experience is unique and is considerate in meeting those needs.”

Since 2001, we’ve also had the honor of serving families in the northern part of Davidson County in the Wallburg/Winston-Salem Community.
