We foster an environment of activity and our caring staff are responsive and empathetic to our residents. Welcome to Harborview of Thomasville, tucked away in beautiful Thomasville, Georgia. Located near Archbold Memorial Health and a host of other nearby providers, we offer an array of specialties. Residents come to us from our own community, and from further in Georgia and North Florida. We accommodate for both long-term and short-term residents by providing 24-hour nursing care and in-house rehab therapy.

Help us thank these museum educators for taking the time to visit, share knowledge, and create such a meaningful experience for our residents! They gave our residents the opportunity to experience a special mini exhibit presented by staff from Jack Hadley’s Black History Museum. Founded by historian James “Jack” Hadley, the museum preserves thousands of artifacts highlighting the history, culture, and achievements of African Americans both locally and nationally.🤍

🌟 Resident Recognition: Mrs. Louise Barnhill 🌟

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Louise Barnhill, a cherished member of our Harborview family since 2022. She was recently recognized during our Black History Month celebration for her remarkable legacy as the first African American telephone operator with Bellsouth (now AT&T) in Thomasville, GA, where she dedicated over 30 years of service.

After retiring, Mrs. Barnhill continued her heart for care by opening a personal care home and lovingly supporting elderly individuals in her community.

Thank you, Mrs. Barnhill, for your dedication, leadership, and for paving the way for others. 💙

✨ Honoring Black History Month ✨

Last month, our residents, staff, and community visitors came together for a meaningful celebration of Black History Month. We were inspired by the dynamic message shared by Rev. Henry Flowers, III, along with uplifting spirituals performed by the First Unity M.B. Church Choir.

As February 2026 marked 100 years since the first national observance of Black History, the celebration gave us a special opportunity to honor the past, celebrate Black culture, and carry its legacy forward together. 💙
