🏌️Augusta puns aside, if you and your partner are looking for a more permanent form of birth control, a vasectomy may be a hole-in-one. 🏌️

At Archbold Urology, we offer options for permanent birth control, including no-scalpel vasectomy—minimally invasive, stitch-free, and done on an outpatient basis for your comfort and convenience.

We also offer Pro-Nox, which is a pain and anxiety relief system that uses nitrous oxide, making your procedure even more comfortable and stress-free.

After the last pimento cheese sandwich is eaten and the Green Jacket is donned, visit www.archbold.org/no-scalpel to learn more about minimally-invasive options at Archbold and request an appointment.

This week, Archbold joined healthcare organizations across the country to recognize Donate Life Week. Throughout the week, we raised awareness about donation, encouraged our community to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors, and honored those who have saved lives through the gift of donation.

Today is National Blue & Green Day, and Archbold employees throughout the region wore special Donate Life t-shirts. At the annual flag raising this morning, we remembered members of our community who have made the lifesaving gift of donation.

Archbold team members painted rocks to honor loved ones and celebrate the gift of donation. Taco Tuesday was an opportunity to "taco bout organ donation" and learn more about what it means to be a registered organ donor.

We thanked our team for being a donor with honey buns and fun photo ops on Thursday. The Dirty Sip was on site with sods to add to the fun.

This year's Donate Life theme used trees as a symbol of life and connection. Just as trees grow and support each other in a forest, donations connect people – donors, recipients, and their families. Like a tree that grows and stands for generations, a donor's gift leaves a lasting legacy of hope and life.

If you'd like to learn more about the Donate Life mission or register as a donor, please visit DonateLife.net.

Archbold is proud to cheer for Thomasville's own Mason Howell as he continues his amateur debut in the Masters Tournament at Augusta National Golf Club.

Following his impressive victory at the U.S. Amateur Championship last year, we were honored to have Mason speak at the Archbold Classic, an annual golf tournament that benefits the Archbold Foundation.

When he tees off for his second round this afternoon, all of the Archbold team will be rooting him on!

Considering a career in healthcare?

The Archbold Auxiliary's Junior Volunteer Program offers high school students the opportunity to learn more about healthcare and the medical field.

Like adult members of the Archbold Auxiliary, Junior Volunteers are assigned to assist in a variety of tasks throughout the hospital.

Last summer, students worked in the Emergency Department, Inpatient Rehab, Clinical Laboratory, Heart & Vascular Department, North Tower, and Information Desk.

Beginning in their Sophomore year, students are invited to learn more about a career in healthcare while serving patients and their community.

GOOD NEWS! - The application deadline for the Summer 2026 Junior Volunteer Program has been extended to April 20.

Interested students can pick up an application from the Information Desk at Archbold Memorial in Thomasville.

Most people don’t spend much time thinking about trauma care. Accidents and serious injuries often feel like something that happens to someone else—until they don’t.

In those critical moments, medical teams have to act fast. And while their expertise matters, so does something deeply personal: knowing your wishes.

That’s where advance directives come in. These important legal documents ensure your voice is heard—even if you can’t speak for yourself. And they’re not just for long-term care—they can make a powerful difference in unexpected emergencies.

Take a few minutes today to learn why advance directives matter more than you might think. Read our latest blog post and take a step toward protecting your future.

At Archbold Cancer Center and throughout the Archbold system, Patient Access Representatives are the first team members that patients interact with. Their role in registration, scheduling, and intake is vital to our patients' experience and the efficiency of our facilities.

In celebration of Patient Access Week, Archbold Cancer Center is providing patients with a fun stress ball this week. The smiling and plant-shaped gifts were funded through a donation from the Archbold Auxiliary.

Members of the Archbold Auxiliary presented the stress balls to Archbold Cancer Center team members in advance of the celebrations.

The Archbold Auxiliary is the volunteer corps that consists of men, women and youth serving in many areas of the hospital and its outlying facilities. The Archbold Auxiliary is currently looking for new members and is hosting a Meet and Greet Soirée on Friday, April 17, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Madison Grove Clubhouse. To learn more and RSVP, please visit www.archbold.org/auxmeetandgreet.
