Shelter from the cold temperatures available today and tomorrow in Thomasville.....

Yep, the frigid weather is headed our way. It feels like it came early this year. We are happy to say we will be OPEN additional nights of Monday and Tuesday this week, 11/10 - 11/11, to offer warm, safe shelter from those freezing nights.

🥣 If you, your church, or organization would like to provide the evening meal Tuesday night or provide morning take away bags of breakfast food and treats to help get through these cold days, please let us know!

🧦 Warm clothing, socks, gloves, scarves, and hats will be appreciated by those who will face the cold mornings as the leave us. Reach out to coordinate a drop-off of supplies you may have. You can also visit our Amazon wishlist for current shelter supply needs: https://tinyurl.com/FoLShoppingList

🪔 Extra days incur extra costs. If you have contemplated joining as a monthly donor, today is a great day to jump in and say yes! We always work to have the shelter open and available when temps drop to 32° or below to ensure clients have a safe place to escape the extreme temperatures no matter if it is within normal operating nights or not.
