A lot of people think all you have to do to be a pharmacist is to know how to count pills, right? Not quite- here's what it takes to be a registered pharmacist in Georgia.

To become a licensed pharmacist in Georgia, you must complete pre-pharmacy coursework, earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution, complete the required internship hours, and pass the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) and the Georgia Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE). After passing these exams, you must apply for licensure with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy and fulfill ongoing continuing education requirements to maintain your license.

Rose City Pharmacy opened on June 4, 2018. We believed that there was a need for a different kind of pharmacy and there was a great opportunity to serve the community with good, old fashioned service. Rose City Pharmacy values each customer and wants to know him or her on a personal level, enabling us to serve them better.
