Give a child medicine for a fever only if they are uncomfortable, acting miserable, or if the fever is over 102°F (38.9°C), as a fever is a normal response to infection. Focus on how your child behaves rather than the exact number on the thermometer. Preferred medications include Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen, strictly dosed by weight.

Allergy season is upon us, and many people are reaching for Flonaze for relief. But is it okay for anyone to use?

Flonase (fluticasone) is generally safe for most people aged 4 and older to treat allergies, but it is not safe for everyone. It should be avoided if you have an allergy to fluticasone, and used cautiously if you have glaucoma, cataracts, recent nasal injury/surgery, weakened immunity, or are pregnant/nursing.

Rose City Pharmacy opened on June 4, 2018. We believed that there was a need for a different kind of pharmacy and there was a great opportunity to serve the community with good, old fashioned service. Rose City Pharmacy values each customer and wants to know him or her on a personal level, enabling us to serve them better. We want to have a friendly environment where customers feel welcome and appreciated. Rose City Pharmacy is owned by Jet Cox and Bill Elkins of Cairo.
