Thank you to everyone who came out for our first Holly Hill Lantern Night of 2026 and for helping make the official ribbon-cutting of our new Letters to Heaven feature such a meaningful evening.

It was a beautiful evening filled with love and remembrance that reminded us how important it is to keep memories alive. Watching lanterns glow across the water and seeing letters written from the heart made for a truly special evening here at Holly Hill.

Our new Letters to Heaven feature was created to give families a simple, heartfelt way to express the love they still carry for those they miss so deeply. We are grateful to now share that space with our community.

A special thank you as well to Frosty's Hawaiian Shaved Ice for providing sweet treats for everyone who attended. It was a much appreciated refreshment from an amazing locally-owned and operated business!

Our next Holly Hill Lantern Night will be May 14th beginning at 7:45pm. We would love for you to join us again!

04/10/2026

Tomorrow night, Saturday, April 11th at 7:00pm, we invite our community to join us at Holly Hill for a very special evening during our first Lantern Night of 2026.

This Lantern Night will also include the official ribbon cutting for our new Letters to Heaven feature, a space created for those carrying love, grief, memories, and words they still wish they could share. Sometimes the heart still needs a way to speak, and Letters to Heaven was built with that in mind.

We would be honored to have you join us tomorrow night as we gather for a time of remembrance, reflection, and love. It will be a meaningful evening here at Holly Hill, and we hope you will come be part of it.

*Special thanks to Frosty's Hawaiian Shaved Ice for providing sweet treats for everyone! And another special thank you to Like My Father, LLC, Timber Creek Trading Co., and Avery’s Collision Center for turning our Letters to Heaven vision into reality!

Love does not end when someone is gone.

Today, Megan and Wendy each took time to write a letter to their dads. Though each letter was personal in its own way, both were filled with the kind of love, remembrance, and unspoken words so many carry after loss.

It was a quiet, meaningful moment, and one that reflects why our Letters to Heaven feature means so much to us here at Holly Hill.

Please note that Letters to Heaven is not officially open to the public just yet. Our official ribbon-cutting will take place this Saturday during Holly Hill Lantern Night, beginning at 7:00pm.

We would be honored for you to join us as we introduce this special new space for remembrance, reflection, and healing here at Holly Hill. ❤️

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to Davidson Local for giving us the opportunity to share the heart behind this Saturday’s Holly Hill Lantern Night and our new Letters to Heaven feature, which will have its official ribbon cutting as a special part of the evening.

At Holly Hill, so much of what we do is about creating meaningful ways for families to remember, reflect, and keep memories alive. We are grateful to Davidson Local for helping us share that heart with our community.

We’ll also be sharing a couple more articles through Davidson Local over the next couple of months, and we would be so thankful if you would take a moment to read and share them.

We’d also love to invite our community to join us for the first Holly Hill Lantern Night of 2026 on Saturday evening, April 11th, beginning at 7:00pm. It will be a special night of remembrance, reflection, and love, and we would be honored to share it with you. Oh, and don't forget that Frosty's Hawaiian Shaved Ice will be on-site with some sweet treats!

Please read, share, and help us spread the word.

As evening settles over Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville on Saturday, April 11, the familiar beauty of the Holly Hill pond will take on a special glow.

Today, Jamal and his son, Tucker, shared a special moment together as they each wrote a letter on behalf of someone they love and miss deeply. Jamal wrote to his grandpa, and Tucker wrote to his great-grandma, “Branny,” who recently passed.

In times of grief, love still looks for a way to speak. Sometimes it comes through memories. Sometimes through tears. And sometimes through a letter written to someone dearly missed.

That is the inspiration behind our new Letters to Heaven feature here at Holly Hill.

While our Letters to Heaven feature isn't officially open to the public just yet, we wanted to share this meaningful moment as a glimpse of what is to come. Our official ribbon-cutting will take place this Saturday (4/11) during Holly Hill Lantern Night, beginning at 7:00pm.

We would love for you to join us as we open this special space for remembrance, reflection, and healing, all in the spirit of Keeping Memories Alive. ❤️
