Who has gathered wisdom from the soil, from my breath, the animals and the rhythms of the seasons, from stillness and from light.

Weekly Sip — Spring Rebirth🌱🐝🦋🌸

As I sip my rose petal lemon balm tea, I am reminded of the goddess of spring—
the one of renewal, fertility, rebirth, and returning light—
awakening in the east with the rising sun.

And as she awakens, so do we.

Like the thawing soil,
the birds returning,
the lambing,
the bees buzzing,
and the first greens of spring rising from the earth,
our bodies, too, begin to wake.

Spring is a season of growth,
of what is beginning to bloom,
of what is becoming possible.

There is a new aliveness in the body this time of year.

I’ve been out with my hands in the earth,
feeling the garden wake up—
the bugs, the worms, the soil softening,
the tiny white blossoms on the chickweed,
the quiet but certain return of life.

Today is the first Sunday after the full moon following the spring equinox—
celebrated in Christian tradition as Easter,
and in older earth-honoring traditions as Ostara—
a sacred time of rebirth, fertility, renewal, and the holy tenderness of beginning again.

There is something so sacred about spring.
It does not rush.
It simply responds to the light.

And perhaps we are being asked to do the same.

For Our Practice Today

Stand with your feet rooted on the earth.

Feel the soles of your feet meeting the ground.

Imagine your roots growing down into the soil—
deep into the dark, rich earth below you.

What has been resting in darkness
is now beginning to rise

Gently close your eyes,

Feel the light of the eastern sun
gently touching your forehead.

Take a slow, deep breath in.

Inhale from the roots of the earth
all the way up through your body
to the crown of your head.

And smile.

Feel the warmth of spring light illuminating you.

Feel the energy of possibility.
Of potential.
Of seeds waiting to be planted.

You are in a fertile moment.

A moment of becoming.
A moment of quiet creation.
A moment of rebirth.

Journal Reflection

Sit with your journal for a few moments and ask:

What seeds do I want to plant this season?

Are they seeds of:
• abundance
• peace
• love
• compassion
• creativity
• courage
• healing

What wants to be born through you?

A new way of living?
An art project?
Music?
A garden?
A practice?
A dream long waiting for its time?

What seeds of creation are ready to rise now?

Sit with your breath.
Sit with the earth.
Sit with the sun.

And listen.

Listen to the birdsong.
Listen to the plants rising from the ground.
Listen to the leaves budding open on the trees.
Listen to the hum of life returning.

Then softly open your eyes
and take in the beauty around you.

Notice how abundant,
how magical,
how fertile
the world truly is.

And remember—

you are part of that blooming too.

🌿 Morning Sip: The Song of Community🐝💚✨🌱🌸

As I sip my lemon balm rose petal tea, I feel the gentle rise of spring.

The birds are singing.
The seeds are awakening.
Our dreams are beginning to take form.

Rose holds me in comfort, gently reminding me of boundaries and the quiet strength of the heart.

And lemon balm… she has returned abundantly, rising all through my garden, her message clear.

She reminds me of community.

Like the bees —
moving together, building their hive with precision and harmony,
each one holding a shared rhythm, a shared vibration.

Like the birds —
singing the morning into being,
their voices weaving a song of the new day.

And like the plants —
rooted in the earth, reaching toward the sun,
thriving quietly, generously, without needing to be seen.

Lemon balm reminds me:

We, too, are meant to live in community.

To build.
To hum.
To create.
To hold a shared vibration of peace, kindness, and love.

🐝🌱🌸Take a deep breath in.

Imagine the bees — 🐝 building from opposite sides, meeting perfectly in the center.
Imagine the birds — 🦅 weaving song into the morning light.
Imagine the plants — 🌱 standing together, rooted and rising.

Now imagine us, the people of the earth. 🌎 👫

What would the world feel like if we moved together in this way?
In harmony.
In generosity.
In compassion.

And as you hold that vision in your heart, know this:

We become the vibration we carry.

So let your breath be steady.
Let your heart be open.
Let your presence be kind.

And in this way, we begin to lift the frequency of the land beneath our feet.

With love,
Nan

Weekly Sip• Breathe 🍃
As I sip my rose & nettle tea, she reminds me of the invigorating release and trust of breath, our connection to our inner and the outer worlds. Our very essence.

Breathing A Simple Reflection-is often understood as a continuous cycle of birth, transformation, and release. The bridge between body, spirit, and awareness.

Buddha sees each breath as giving new life and each breath out as a little death.

Jesus reveals breath as Spirit-filled life, to soften, trust, and return to the living moment.

Many meditations say:

The breath is the only companion that stays with us from the moment of birth until the moment of death.

Thoughts come and go

Emotions come and go

Circumstances change

But the Breath is always here.

A Simple Reflection:

Breathing in, I arrive.

Breathing out, I release.

Breathing in, life enters.

Breathing out, life returns.

Breathing in I receive.

Breathing out I trust..

Breathing in, I am alive.

Breath out, I let go.

So breath becomes a way of returning home to ourselves.

Each inhale is the remembrance that Spirit lives within me. Each exhale is the surrender of what I no longer need to carry.

Breath is where heaven touches the body. Where earth invigorates our senses.

Go out in nature, take a deep breath in, imaging inhaling all of nature all around you, releasing with a long, audible exhale out, letting go of what is not yours to carry. Try this a few times or sit with it for a moment, hands to heart, feet on the earth, crown to heaven, feel the lightness in the body, inhaling bringing in fresh, new, enlivened energy, let it fill every corner of your body, exhaling letting go, composting into the earth, any burden, emotion, problem, fear, releasing, trusting and feeling the release in your body, continue this way until you feel your soul lightened, invigorated with breath and possibility.

Sitting or standing in prayer outside, breathing in the beautiful, abundant energy all around. Let it fill your senses with love, trust, courage, kindness, joy, laughter, song, and peace.

With Love Always,
Nan ♥🌹

The Weekly Sip- The Unseen Roots 🌿🌹

Remember the importance of the unseen roots beneath your feet, the community that feeds and nourishes you-

There's a quiet message here- a gentle awakening of spring, the remembering of what has been planted growing underneath all along.

Rooted in the Earth rising through the Heart.

Spring reflection- The Wisdom Beneath our Feet🌿

Spring does not begin at the surface.

Before the first green shoot reaches the light, a thousand quiet moments happen in the dark.

Roots weaving, soil softening, waters unthawing and returning to flow.

Remember the unseen roots beneath your feet.

The mycelium networks of care, community, and quiet nourishment that hold you even when you cannot see them.

Like the earth waking slowly,

We rise by gently belonging.

From that rootedness....

We rise softly
We rise radiant
We rise together

Take a breath in now and feel the ground below you-

Feel what has been supporting you all winter,

the friendships,
the ancestors,
the seeds of dreams planted
the breath itself.

Spring is not a sudden becoming-

it is the gentle rising,

to light
out of the dark of winter,
of what has taken root within you.

Always with Love & Peace,

Week Six of Surrender, Serenity and Grow is about warming the waters that nourish spring, the growth of the wood element. Winter's rest is a time of deep rest, inner nourishment and planting seeds from our heart mind, ones of love and compassion, our inner most desires. When the waters are warm, nourished , peaceful and tranquil, we have the willpower to move ahead, tending to the soil that the seeds of our dreams were planted in, the courage to dream.

The lungs bring in the breath, and courage, the kidneys grasp the vapors, the essence from the lungs. peaceful and tranquil flowing like a river over the mountain, rooted in Earth, aligned with Heaven. Bringing moisture to the eyes, with clarity of vision, with kindness and generosity. The liver opens the eyes, The health of the Liver system influences how clearly we see, physically and spiritually. it is our Ethereal Soul, it is said to leave the body in dreams, connect with unseen realms and bring back inspiration and vision. The Liver governs our ability to see. Not only with the eyes, but with the spirit. When winter waters nourish the root, spring vision rises naturally. When the root is dry, the eyes strain and the path becomes unclear.

Join the Heart Path Community as we move into spring, in growth and clarity, self healing our bodies health and emotions 🌱✨
