Our cottage residents filled 27 shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child, with the wonderful support of Zoar Church of Stapleton. Georgia. These small boxes are packed with love, hope, and joy — just as the tiny baby Jesus became love, hope, and joy for us.

And when we add in the 20 boxes our estates residents filled back in July… our little community of just 45 people has sent off an amazing 47 shoeboxes this year! 🎁🌍

We are so proud of the compassion, teamwork, and joy our residents bring to projects like this. It truly shows that even a small community can make a big difference. 💛

👑✨ It’s National Princess Day, and things got royally fun around here! ✨👑

We were treated to a visit from three adorable little princesses from Briarwood Academy and they brought all the magic with them! Our residents were officially crowned by our tiny royalty and wore their fabulous crowns while battling it out in a very regal round of Bingo.

There were giggles, sparkles, and enough princess power to light up the whole room. 💖✨

A huge thank-you to our visiting princesses for sprinkling fairy-tale fun all over our day! 👸✨

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we proudly celebrated the brave men and women who have served our country with honor and courage. Our ceremony began with a Heroes Parade, where our veteran residents walked in to cheers, waving flags, and heartfelt applause from fellow residents and staff.

Each veteran was recognized with a special certificate and pin from Trinity Hospice — small tokens of our deep gratitude for their service and sacrifice.

To all who have worn the uniform: thank you for protecting our freedom and inspiring us with your strength and dedication. You are our heroes, today and every day. ❤️🤍💙

Our residents had a real “hands-on” kind of day! 👋
From raising their hands to bid on fun prizes at our Bean Auction with CSRA Home Health 🫘🎁 to creating colorful handprint turkeys 🦃🎨, everyone had a blast. It’s always wonderful to see so many smiles (and painted hands!) around our community!
