Double the fun today as we celebrated both National Lookalike Day and National Lima Bean Day! 😄

Our activities director had everyone smiling by dressing up as a resident lookalike, and the laughter didn’t stop there. Residents got in on the action by using dried lima beans to “bid” on fun prizes with CSRA Home Health and Allay Hospice—talk about a creative twist!

National Scrabble Day had us all at a loss for words… until the tiles came out! 🧩 Some residents were first-time wordsmiths, others were brushing up their skills—but everyone had a letter-perfect time. Triple word scores were celebrated, questionable words were debated, and plenty of laughs were shared along the way!

“Georgia on my mind…” 🎶

On this final day of Masters week, it feels only right that Georgia is on everyone’s mind. What a beautiful way to close out a week full of celebration, connection, and joy.

As the activities director, it’s moments like this one that I enjoy —our community partners gathered together, catching up, sharing stories, and simply enjoying being present with one another. This moment was especially special… two individuals who had never met before Friday’s putt-putt tournament now blending their talents to create something truly meaningful.

This is why I love what I do. Bringing people together, watching connections form, and seeing unexpected friendships turn into something unforgettable.
Masters week may be coming to a close, but the memories—and the music—will stay with us. 💚

Day 4 of Masters Week was a perfect “fit!” ⛳️ Residents and staff took the runway in their best Masters-inspired looks—featuring greens, azalea pinks, and plenty of Masters flair. Style, smiles, and a whole lot of fun!

Day 3 of our celebration was one to remember! 🎨⛳

Our residents put their creativity on full display as they painted their very own Masters gnomes. IYKYK—the official Masters gnome is one of the most coveted keepsakes from the tournament, often hard to find and highly sought after. But we’d argue these handcrafted versions are even more priceless…because they were made with joy, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. 💚

We also hosted our own Par 3 Party, complete with classic Masters concession favorites—pimento cheese, egg salad, and pulled pork sandwiches. To top it off, residents enjoyed official Masters chips and MoonPies, generously shared by community members who had the special opportunity to attend the tournament.

Another day full of traditions, treats, and treasured moments! 🌸

Tuesday at the Masters means day two of our week-long celebration of all things golf! ⛳️

We kicked off the morning with Golf Bingo, where the prize was a “golden golf ball” (aka Ferrero Rocher truffles 🍫). Sweet victory never tasted so good!

In the afternoon, residents enjoyed Arnold Palmers and karaoke out on the front porch—because nothing pairs better with sunshine than good music and great company. 🎶

And in true Masters tradition, we brought our own version of the famous 16th hole “skip it” challenge to our cottage residents! Instead of skipping across the water, they tossed official Masters ball markers onto a Twister mat. Land it on a circle (in the hole), and you win a prize!

Another tee-rific day full of laughter, friendly competition, and Masters magic! 💚
