Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery

Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery With a view of the Rocky Mountains, Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, a Dignity Memorial provider

Originally farmland, Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery was established in 1952. When our funeral home was added in 1965, we became one of the first funeral home and cemetery combinations in Colorado. With the silhouette of Colorado’s majestic Rocky Mountains to the west, the cemetery has graceful curved walkways, flowers and waterfall areas that provide calming places for reflection in an atmosphere of peace and serenity. Our main building features a chapel with comfortable seating for 175 people, visitation rooms and arrangement rooms. The Sanctuary of Peace, a featured garden within our cemetery, offers families a beautiful place for permanent memorialization with areas designated for cremation, family estates, bench and gated estates, and private estates. Olinger Highland is the recipient of a prestigious 2008 Pursuit of Excellence Award. Only two percent of funeral homes nationwide are recognized annually by the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) for their commitment and dedication to excellence. The Pursuit of Excellence Award recognizes NFDA members for their outstanding community service, professional integrity and ethical standards. Criteria for the award include compliance with state and federal regulations, continuing education and staff development, family outreach and support, and professional association service and participation.

Our new irrigation pump has been installed! We are currently working on eradication of weeds and fertilizing the cemetery grounds. As the summer goes on you will see new sod being installed and over-seeding of certain areas.
We appreciate your patience with us as we worked through the irrigation issues and continue to make improvements in our beloved Olinger Highland Cemetery.

TO OUR VALUED FAMILIES
IRRIGATION SYSTEM UPDATE

In April, initial repairs to the irrigation system will begin by dredging the retention pond which holds the water used for irrigating the cemetery. We will then be able to make further assessments to the pond and pump before installing the new motor and pump. Once this phase is completed, we will be able to replenish the pond from our lateral off the Farmer’s Highline Canal and test the lines within the cemetery.

Your patience and understanding are appreciated as we work to make these improvements for the long term care and appearance of Olinger Highland Cemetery. For more information, visit or call our offices at 303-451-6674
