🎃 Candy Drive Challenge! 🍬

Skylake Post Acute is kicking off our annual Halloween Candy Drive — and this year, we’re going BIG! Our goal: 1,000 lbs of candy for our Trick-or-Treat event! 👻

Last year, we collected over 600 lbs and gave it all away to our amazing community — let’s see if we can top it!

💪 The unit that donates the most candy wins a special prize and bragging rights for a whole year!

We’d also love to invite our community to join us for a night of trick-or-treating fun right here at Skylake Post Acute! Bring your little ghosts and goblins for candy, costumes, and plenty of smiles. 🧡

🍭 Drop off your candy donations at the front desk by 10/31/2025 at 11am and help make this the sweetest Halloween yet!

We’re excited to share some feathered news! Our Garden Unit is now home to a beautiful aviary, filled with vibrant, chirping birds that bring joy, color, and a sense of calm to our residents and staff alike. 🕊️💛

The soothing sounds and gentle movements of our new feathered friends have already brought smiles and sparked conversations throughout the halls. Research has shown that watching birds can help reduce stress and promote relaxation — and we're already seeing the positive impact!

This new addition is part of our ongoing commitment to creating a warm, enriching environment where residents feel connected, engaged, and at home. ❤️

🎉 Success Story Spotlight! 🎉

We’re thrilled to celebrate another incredible milestone here at Skylake Post Acute!

After a dedicated rehab journey, our amazing resident is officially discharging home after completing their skilled nursing and rehabilitation stay! 🏡✨

Thanks to the hard work of our compassionate nursing team and the dedication of our therapy department, they made remarkable progress each day — regaining strength, mobility, and independence.

From personalized care plans to round-the-clock support, every step was focused on helping our resident safely return home with confidence. 💪❤️

We’re so proud to be part of their journey — and we wish them all the best as they continue to thrive at home!

🎉💃 ZUMBA FUN ALERT! 🕺🎶

Today our community was busting moves and boosting moods during our Zumba session! 💥💓 Residents and staff came together on the dance floor for a high-energy class filled with laughter, music, and LOTS of movement!

From salsa steps to shimmy shakes, everyone got in on the action — proving that wellness and joy have no age limit! 🙌👏

Big thanks to our amazing instructor for keeping the energy high and the smiles even higher. We’re already looking forward to our next Zumba party! 🎊💪

Prepare to be amazed! A talented juggler will showcase their incredible skills, bringing joy and laughter to all. It's an interactive show that promises to entertain and inspire.

🎶 Live Music with Hat Man
Get ready to tap your feet! Hat Man will bring live music to our community, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. It's the perfect way to enjoy the summer vibes.

🌿 Garden Club in Full Swing
Our green thumbs are at work! Residents are actively involved in our Garden Club, planting and nurturing beautiful flowers and herbs. It's a peaceful and rewarding way to connect with nature and each other.
