Yesterday, our talented Thespian Group brought the Wild West to life with their thrilling performance of "Murder in the Wild West." 🌵🔫

From cowboy hats to plot twists, the evening was filled with mystery, laughter, and incredible acting from our resident stars. A huge round of applause to everyone who helped make this event a rootin’-tootin’ success! 👏💥

Another fantastic performance by our 'Silver Tones Choir' was held last Saturday. As always, this group of talented residents filled the room with beautiful harmonies and heartfelt melodies that had everyone clapping along. Their passion and dedication shine through in every note, and we couldn't be prouder! Stay tuned for their next performance - you won't want to miss it! 🎶👏💖

Yesterday, we hosted a beautiful Mother’s Day High Tea Party to honor the incredible mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who make our community so special. 💐💕

From delicate teacups and elegant treats to joyful laughter and heartfelt memories, it was a celebration full of warmth, love, and grace. Residents enjoyed a delightful afternoon with family, friends, floral centerpieces, and, of course, plenty of tea and sweets!

Thank you to all who joined us and helped make this day so meaningful. 💗

Our residents embraced the season with our 3rd Annual Snowball Fight—featuring giant marshmallows! 🍬 Laughter and joy filled the air as marshmallows flew, making for a hilariously "sweet" battle. 🥰

After the excitement, everyone gathered for warm cups of sweet hot chocolate or cinnamon tea, perfectly paired with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. ☕🍪 It was the perfect way to stay cozy and enjoy a delightful winter afternoon together.

Creating memories, sharing smiles, and celebrating the season—this is what community is all about! ❤️

Yesterday, we embraced the magic of Disney with a Mickey Mouse Day celebration! 🥳 Residents rolled up their sleeves (and got covered in frosting!) as they decorated adorable Mickey-shaped cookies. It was a creative, tasty, and laughter-filled adventure! 🍪✨

The fun didn’t stop there—our talented culinary team whipped up homemade Dole Whip and Frozen Hot Chocolate, bringing a little taste of Disney parks to our community. 🍍 Residents loved every spoonful of this refreshing treat!

We wrapped up the day with Disney games and trivia, where residents shared their favorite Disney memories and put their knowledge to the test. From guessing iconic characters to singing along to classic songs, the magic was everywhere. 🎶🎥

A big thank you to everyone who made this day so special! Seeing our residents smile and embrace their inner child was truly heartwarming. 💖

🌟 Join Us in Giving Back This Holiday Season! 🌟

The holidays are a wonderful time to spread warmth and kindness, and we’re excited to invite our community to participate in our charity drives this season! Here’s how you can help:

🧥 Coat Drive – Donate new or gently used coats to keep our community warm. Drop off locations are set up in our Lobby. We are also accepting mittens, scarves, and hats.

🍲 Food Drive – Bring non-perishable food items to help families in need. Together, we can make sure everyone has a warm, hearty meal this winter.

🎁 Operation Christmas Child – Help us bring smiles to children worldwide! Please see the attached flyers for the items we are accepting. Our residents will then be packing these items into the shoeboxes to be sent to children in need. Donations bins will be located at the front desk. We also have the option of creating a "virtual shoebox." See the attached flyer for more details.

Please join us in congratulating Stan and Mary Ruth on their incredible 58th wedding anniversary! 🎉💍

Their journey together is a beautiful testament to love, commitment, and enduring partnership. From the memories they've created to the challenges they've faced side by side, their story is one of inspiration for all of us.

Stan & Mary Ruth met in college at the University of Kansas. You may not believe it, but Stan had fiery red hair and Mary Ruth said she could always pick him out of a crowd.

At first, Mary Ruth had no interest in Stan, but Stan was head over heels for Mary Ruth and knew from the first moment they locked eyes, that she was the one.

After 3 years, and Stan asking for Mary Ruth's hand in marriage 100 time over, she finally said yes. On August 20th, 1966, the couple said, "I do" and the rest is history.

I asked the couple what the secret to a long, happy marriage is. Mary Ruth stated they are stronger because of their faith in God. Stan answered, "Give her a kiss every day and always apologize, even if you don't think you did something wrong."

Here's to many more years of happiness, health, and love! 💕 Let's shower them with all the love and good wishes they deserve!
