“Three Weeks to Three Years” – The Power of the Body to Heal
I remember being at a party years ago with a close friend when the topic of chiropractic came up.
I started talking about how the power of the nervous system can impact human potential — how it can enhance quality of life and keep the body functioning at its best.
That night, I spoke with a woman named Kim. She had some of the typical back or neck problems I’d seen countless times before. I offered to help, but she politely declined. I’ve had so many conversations like that over the years that I honestly forgot about it.
Fast forward three years later — Kim walks into my office, and I don’t even recognize her. Chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries had taken their toll. She’d been diagnosed with cancer and told she had three weeks to live.
She looked at me and asked, “Can you help me?”
I told her, “I will do everything in my power to help your body express the healthiest version of itself. That’s all any of us can hope for.”
And she said yes. She stepped up — big time.
Three years later, the cancer never fully went away, but she lived. She lived with strength, purpose, and gratitude. And when I went to her funeral, there were over 500 people there.
Her sister spoke that day. She talked about Kim’s passion for the body’s ability to heal. She told everyone about this “crazy nutrition plan” Kim had made the whole family follow. About oxygen and Max T3. About detoxification. About mindfulness.
She spoke of chiropractic — and the message we’ve been teaching for decades — that the human body is powerful, intelligent, and capable of healing when you remove interference.
Kim was given three weeks…
but she was blessed with three years — and that time gave her closure, connection, and peace.
So my message to you is simple: Stay the course. Keep doing the work. Keep helping people discover that they are powerful, strong, and built to heal.
I am honored and proud to work with my team that is so dedicated to saving humanity. I love and appreciate each of you.
