May’s Employee Spotlight goes to our Certified Pharmacy Technician Shauna Swackhammer. She has been with the pharmacy going on 14 years. Shauna married her high school sweetheart Bryan, and they have 2 children, Ashlynne who is a junior in college and Jackson who will be in 8th grade. Shauna and her family live outside of her hometown of Thornville.

Shauna enjoys fishing with her family and has always had a love of photogphry. She hopes to one day aquire the skills to do more than just dabble. She considers herself a jack of all trades but a master of none. When you meet Shauna you will notice right away she has a huge heart and genuinly wants to help people get what they need to feel better.

Thank you Shauna for you dedication and hard work. Keep it up!

Aprils Employee Spotlight is our CPhT Jodi Stickdorn. Jodi has been with us for 24 years. She has been married to her husband David for 33 years. They have 2 sons, Joseph who passed away at birth, Timmy and daughter in-law Tricia. They have 3 beautiful grandchildren, Clara, Kade and Davis. She also has 2 dogs, Belle and Maggie.

In her free time, Jodi enjoys spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. She also enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles and photography.

If you stop in you will find out that Jodi is quite ornery, but she takes pride in helping her customers get the best care possible!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT:

Patsy Ramsey has been a clerk/cashier for the pharmacy for 29 years. She has a daughter, Lynsay and son in law Tyler. She has 4 grandchildren, Corbin, Laina, Kyleigh and Ethan.

She spends her free time with her grandkids and she likes to travel when possible. She also loves animals and has a dog named Luna and a Rabbit named Peanut.

If you call into the pharmacy and there is giggling on the other end, it’s a good bet it’s Patsy. She always has a smile and “Hi there” when you come through the door.

Here is a little bio on your new Pharmacist/Owner Stacy Appleton.

Stacy lives in the Flint Ridge area in Newark on her family farm. Along with being a pharmacist she works on the farm raising Herford Cattle. She is married to Mark Appleton and they have a son Max who just recently married his wife Kaitlyn. In her limited free time Stacy enjoys playing bagpipes, reading and riding motorcycles with her husband.

Stacy has worked with Dave for 16 years and learned how to care for our small town and community. She is always willing to listen and talk with our customers to help them get the best care possible. Although you may see some small changes happening, her commitment to our customers will not change.

If you haven’t had a chance to meet her yet, stop in and say hi and get to know her!

Yesterday was Dave’s last official day as the pharmacy owner. He has served our community well for 41 years. The good news is he isn’t leaving completely. He will still be there 1 day a week and every other Saturday. The impact he has made on the lives around him is immeasurable! Thank you Dave for your dedication to your customers! Enjoy your retirement!

Stacy has worked beside Dave for 16 years and will do a wonderful job picking up where Dave left off. If you remember Harold Conrad, that worked with Dave as well, that is Stacy’s grandfather. Pharmacy runs in her blood! Congratulations Stacy on this new adventure!
